Dexter, forensic expert by day, serial killer with a penchant for execution by night

Dexter creates a believable and very detailed portrait of, let’s say, a troubled sociopath. One of the parts of the show that I like the most is the emotions that normal people show, thus forcing Dexter to emulate them. A good laugh when the emotions that Dexter fakes become real and he is scared to death of his relationship with his “girlfriend” Rita, a mother of two and a victim of her tyrannical ex-boyfriend.

Fascinating story, lots of detail and one of the best opening walls ever

I also liked the performance of Jennifer Carpenter as Dexter’s sister Debra, she adds a nice touch to the show without slipping into cliché.
