Chronology
Investigating the unlikely ascension of the beloved king of the Pride Lands, Mufasa: The Lion King instructs Rafiki to pass on the legend of Mufasa to the young lioness Kiara, daughter of Simba and Nala, while Timon and Pumbaa lend their signature stunt. The story, told in flashbacks, presents Mufasa as an orphaned cub, lost and lonely, until he meets a lovable lion named Tak, an heir to a royal lineage. A chance meeting sets off an extensive journey of an unusual group of misfits looking for their destiny. Their bonds will be tested as they work together to evade a menacing and deadly enemy.
