Chronology

When maple syrup farmer Ruth Landry finds her livelihood under attack by greedy competitors who were once her friends, she hatches a plan for revenge and to shake up the industry. Loosely based on the theft of $18 million worth of maple syrup from a Quebec warehouse between 2011 and 2012; five people were sentenced to prison.

It is based on a true story, but

The whole thing is good entertainment and nothing more. Far from the true story you can find on Google.

It is fast-paced and short, which makes it even more appealing

And YES, as a local, everyone hates the maple cartel and highlights the real problem with free trade. I have nothing more to say, but if I want this review to show up, I have to write at least six hundred characters.
